Berega Institute of Health Sciences (BIHeS) is a faith-based, non-profit institution located in Berega, within Kilosa District of Morogoro Region, Tanzania. Established in 2010 and fully registered by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET), the institute is dedicated to training competent and compassionate healthcare professionals. BIHeS operates under the umbrella of the Anglican Church, Diocese of Morogoro, and is part of a wider mission that includes Berega Hospital and various community outreach programs.

At BIHeS, we offer accredited programs in Clinical Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Social Work, ranging from certificate to diploma levels (NTA Levels 4–6). Our curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to meet the health needs of Tanzania, particularly in underserved rural communities. Students benefit from close partnerships with nearby healthcare facilities, including Berega Mission Hospital, which provides vital hands-on clinical experience.
